Michelle Stynes Michelle moved to Thredbo in October, 2000 after working in the competitive real estate market in Sydney. She holds the following qualifications:

Her extensive work experience in the mountains includes seven years as the licensee of Thredbo Real Estate; her tenure here resulted in a drastic improvement in the performance of their sales department; a total of 9 years as a real estate sales specialist, and consultant valuation experience with Regional Valuers which has given her great insight and experience about the Snowy Mountains, and the villages of Thredbo, Perisher, Lake Crackenback and Jindabyne. Prior to moving to the mountains she had extensive training with both McGrath and Richardson & Wrench.
Michelle belongs to both the ISTM (Institute of Strata Management) and the REINSW (Real Estate Institute of NSW).
Steve Forbes
Steve commenced his real estate career in 1995 working with the Commercial division of the largest private real estate company in New Zealand, Barfoot and Thompson, who employ over 700 real estate agents. It was in New Zealand that Steve learnt the value of working in a team environment, whereby people working together, rather than in a "dog eat dog" fashion, achieve better results for their clients.
In 1999 Steve returned to live in the mountains at the family property known as Silvertop Lodge on the Alpine Way only 10 minutes from the office. He started work in Thredbo two days after returning to Australia, and quickly realized the tremendous lifestyle opportunities on offer in the Snowy Mountains, Thredbo, Perisher, Lake Crackenback and Jindabyne.
Having learnt that selling mountain and high country real estate is a careful, well planned and targeted process, Steve was quick to contact his clients and help them with clear information about the market. His negotiation skills have helped him to achieve great results and train other staff in his team. Steve holds Real Estate Agents and Stock and Station Agents Licenses.

Joanne's real estate career began in Jindabyne in 1984 when she was employed by one of the original agencies in the area. Duties included property management, holiday property lettings and she assisted the Sales department with their work loads. Joanne became familiar with the beginnings of growth in Jindabyne including subdivisions such as Leesville Estate, Lakewood Estate, the Linton subdivision and also Kalkite. The experience and knowledge gained since this time has been invaluable in furthering her Real Estate career.
Joanne has worked for many years in Real Estate sales in the Snowy Mountains. She has gained much experience in the Resort areas and was employed as licencee for one of the larger Jindabyne agencies.
Joanne recently joined the 'selling' team at Forbes Stynes Real Estate, a very techologically advanced and motivated sales team, where she works with her own ideas in her own way which has proved to be a very fruitful move.
