Snug above The Marritz Alpine Inn, Gunyah is one of Perisher’s best-positioned lodges with great views. Gunyah Ski Club owns and operates this friendly little 20 bed ski lodge just 300 meters from the Skitube, Supermarket, Oversnow and Medical Centre, and another 200 metres from Front Valley.

Gunyah was built in 1961 with 100 members. A further 10 members joined when the lodge underwent a major renovation and upgrade in 1990 and has just had major works on the exterior walls and roof.

Incorporated in November 1961, Gunyah Lodge is built on land leased from the National Parks and Wildlife Service. The lease is to 2028, with 3 x 10 year options extending to 2058.
