Perisher Muddles Lodge
Snow home - Located right in the snow between the Interceptor Chairlift and the North Perisher T-Bar, Muddles Lodge is a magnificent six bedroom commercial ski in ski out boutique ski chalet in the perfect location to ski Perisher, Blue Cow, Guthega and Smiggins Holes direct from the front door! Newly renovated, Muddles offers luxury accommodation with seventeen licensed beds. The lodge is reached by a short ride on the oversnow transport, or by private ski-doo. Fully serviced with all town services it is a stunning retreat in summer and an adventure in the winter with easy access to the ski lifts in all snow conditions.
From the entrance foyer, one can enter a large double garage housing the wood store, the central gas fired heating system (installed and maintained by one of the mountain’s best heating experts), two vehicles or in winter the two oversnow vehicles that come with the lodge. The entrance foyer is a tiled wet area, with big drying room fitted out for ski boots and other wet gear. One then goes upstairs to the living areas and bedrooms. There are two main sections in the lodge – the living kitchen and dining areas with three ensuited bedrooms (rooms 4, 5 and 6) attached as well as a guest bathroom (perfect for guests that wish to stay after check out so they can ski more). The other section contains three more large rooms more separated from the living areas.
The kitchen is fully equipped for commercial operations with two five burner gas cookers, plenty of refridgeration, two sinks and a big central preparation area. It is every cook’s dream kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room able to seat sixteen at a time, with French doors leading to a north facing deck ideal for barbeques on nice sunny days. From the dining room you can move to the comfort of the lounge, and listen to music or relax in front of the fire. Under the lounge is an office with attached bathroom. All six bedrooms are very generously proportioned, and all have ensuite bathrooms, and great views over the surrounding snow covered terrain. |
